Inside Geoghegans: Lachlan qualified as a CA in 1983 following a BA degree in Business Organisation at Heriot Watt University. Having completed his training at Geoghegans, Lachlan then joined Ernst & Young, Edinburgh where he spent eleven years gaining a broad depth of knowledge in auditing, tax compliance and tax planning, company acquisitions, disposals and due diligence work. Lachlan rejoined Geoghegans as a Partner in 1994 and became the firm's Senior Partner in 2005.
Outside Geoghegans: When he's not providing a taxi service for his two children, Lachlan has a passion for classic cars - with four currently being restored. He also enjoys watching rugby and has recently taken up golf.
