Recruitment Process
If you are interested in applying for a CA training contract with Geoghegans the first step is to complete our online student application form.
We will appraise all application forms we receive and, if successful, you will be invited to attend a first interview with our Student Training Principal (Iain Binnie). The first interview allows us to get to know you and find out a little bit more about what motivates you and why you want to pursue a career in accountancy. It also provides you with an opportunity to find out a bit more about us, where we work and what we do.
After the first round of interviews has been completed, a selection of candidates will then be invited back for a second interview. The second interview is usually held with the Student Training Principle and another member of staff. You will be given the opportunity to discuss in more detail your personal goals and aspirations and will be able to see round our office and meet with some of our staff on a one-to-one basis.
Applicants will receive notification of whether they have been successful shortly after the second round of interviews has been completed.
