COVID-19 (Coronavirus) - Geoghegans Update

I wanted to update you on how we at Geoghegans are dealing with the ongoing COVID-19 virus. It is causing significant disruption around the world and its impact is now being felt here in the UK. As you already know this is a continually changing landscape and we will continue monitoring the guidelines issued by both UK and Scottish Governments.

Our top priority is to maintain the health and wellbeing of both our staff and clients and we have put in place the following measures in order to mitigate risks:

  • Our staff are being encouraged to work from home where possible. With our flexible IT systems, partners and staff have access to our network from home which will allow us to continue providing the services with as minimal disruption as possible.
  • Where possible face to face meetings are being discouraged and we are instead using phone calls, video conferencing or other online meeting facilities to continue communicating with our staff and clients.
  • While we always enjoy seeing our clients, we are discouraging visitors to our office at this time in order to reduce the risk to both you and our staff.
  • Our secure online portal is always available to share documents and other information. If you do not currently have access to this and would like us to set this up please contact us to arrange this.

The above steps are intended to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. As you will appreciate, this is a fluid situation and we will continue to follow government guidelines while trying to minimise the impact it has on our service provision. As matters progress, we will keep you up to date with any changes as they arise.

Your usual service team can be contacted as normal and we will endeavour to work with you through these turbulent times. If you have any questions in the meantime please do not hesitate to contact me.
