Being an established firm we are able to provide a combination of training, experience and responsibility for our students in all aspects of accountancy services. We recruit graduates who are committed and wish to learn in a friendly and professional environment. Our qualification requirement is an ICAS “fully accredited” 2:1 accountancy degree.

We are looking for a part-qualified accountant to join our friendly and supportive accounts department where you will be a valued and integral part of the team. You will be working on a varied portfolio of accounts clients. These clients are in a variety of sectors and range from small limited companies to sole traders and partnerships.

Your main duties for these clients will include:

  • Preparation of statutory accounts
  • Preparation of corporation tax returns
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Assisting clients and managers with queries
  • Coaching/assisting junior staff members
  • Managing your workload effectively to meet deadlines

Knowledge and experience desired:

  • Part qualified/qualified by experience with a minimum of 2 years experience working in an Accountancy Firm
  • Good working understanding of accounting standards/accounting principles
  • Experience of CCH, Xero, Sage and other cloud systems
